Black Mountain Trail/Overview: Black Mountain Trail intersects with Cumberland Trail with breathtaking views; drive back to I40 entrance (Do not enter), continue on Market Street straight across bridge and make a sharp right onto Bat Town Road, continue for 1.5 miles to four-way intersection, turn left on Owl Roost Road and proceed 2.5 miles up Black Mountain to parking area. From trailhead, walk right (south) ¼ mile to overlook trail on left.
